For my senior show at Edinboro University, I painted different quotes that I felt voiced my thoughts, opinions, and values. I continued to handletter afterwards using pencil, pen, paint, and Procreate.

In order to encourage design staff to not only understand type, but feel free to explore it without any fears of failure or imposter syndrome, I had staff work on hand lettering for months. I even joined them to show them different styles, which are showcased below.

Postcard Series

Inspired by Hate Mail.

I’ve always admired the whimsical nature of a postcard. What does it mean? What feelings does it provide.

When I was 18, I remember my friends that traveled around the world would mail me postcards of the countries they were staying at. I still have these postcards and I can only remember them fondly because of it. So what happens when you create postcards about places within places where you can create memories?
