Honestly? I wish I was born in the era of the rise of magazines and book design because I genuinely find book design to be one of the most rewarding design types: time, effort, design decisions into creating something tangible is just too satisfying. I could nerd out for hours about paper choice to book binds. I could do this for almost any type of print design and not just book design, but either way, I find all of it too good when I take into account all the small details that go into the work.
