Hi! I’m Jewell Melisa Morton.

I’m a Filipino creative was raised in a military family. Growing up, I found myself lucky enough to live in Japan and then travel the US. Between the places I lived, my friends, and my family, I was never short of the stream of Japanese, Filipino, Italia, and American culture and influence thrown my way. And yes, I do admit to trying to implement it into my personal and professional life, but, I admint, that I’m still trying to figure out where I fit in or how they fit into my life (besides food).

I am a dedicated, vocal, and meticulous designer with a commitment to humanistic design. I believe in honoring history and creating designs that resonate with target audiences needs and values; in doing so, I will often change my style to best suit my audience. I believe in advocating for the team: Collaboration, checking in on co-workers (really just friends), and letting people be people so they can have a good work life balance.

I excel in creating work that involves community and typography. I enjoy pushing and testing boundaries from conceptualization to final execution while still meeting deadlines (if not a bit earlier than the original deadline).

I am currently looking to thrive with likeminded people within an agency process and pace after years of leading cross-functional teams for start up companies and various freelance client work where I can contribute my personal insight on campaigns.
